In spring 2025, the French economy continued to grow at a very moderate pace (+0.6% year-on-year). Household consumption remained fragile, hampered by purchasing power that grew more limitedly than in 2024 and a sustained high savings rate, despite inflation falling below 1% at the end of June. Investment by both businesses and households stagnated, penalized by an uncertain economic and political environment, both nationally and internationally.
